Syd is a great artist and a master at what he does, but his style is starting to show some serious age.

I like this image. Sure, the style is becoming a bit outdated, but it is also becoming a classic, at this point. I would not recommend that anyone starting out try and copy his style, but I do like the work. I guess what I am saying is...That's Syd's atyle and I like it, but I wouldn't want to see copycats. ;)

The city seems miniaturized somehow next to the road. Maybe a little blur there to simulate a long lens and put more emphasis on the car and separate it from the road? Technically, the style is amazing... Has a contemporary yet slight vintage look. Syd is a master.

It's always good to see any work by Syd Mead, even though I don't think this is his best work, however I'd be very happy if I could produce something half as good.
